JSC «Almatymetrokurylys» was created on the basis of transport and mine construction enterprises involved in the construction of railway tunnels of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, subways of the cities of Novosibirsk, Moscow, Tashkent and mining enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
